In line with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006, Uganda Red Cross Society has set up a state-of-the-art First Aid Training school to give more members of the general public an opportunity to undergo first aid trainings to save more lives. The OSH Act 2006 operationalizes Articles 40 (1) (a) of Uganda’s Constitution by making provision for health, safety and welfare for persons at workplaces. The URCS First Aid Training school which is located at our headquarters in Rubaga, Kampala District has a sitting capacity of 25 trainees per session to allow one-to-one interface between the trainers and trainees.
