Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS), with support from the Belgian Red Cross Flanders has successfully conducted a three-day Sales and Marketing Training aimed at accelerating the adoption of First Aid Blended Learning (FABL) amongst 4,500 Ugandans within the first one year.
The training which took place from 24th to 26th February 2025 at Hotel Africana in Uganda, brought together the National Society’s commercial first aid team and selected branch managers.
The FABL tool is a modern approach to first aid education. Combining online theoretical learning with practical, hands-on sessions, FABL provides participants with the flexibility to learn at their own pace, while still receiving vital in-person instruction.
This model ensures that more people, especially those with busy schedules, can access essential first aid skills.
Over the course of three days training, the participants engaged in dynamic learning sessions, covering a range of topics such as Campaign development, review of customers and competitor analysis among others, to enhance their ability to sale and market the FABL online-based training across various sectors, including businesses, schools, universities, tertiary institutions and the general public at large.
